Opportunity Arts celebrated its official launch over the week of July 10th - 15th in 2018 with a group exhibition at Thistle Hall in Wellington and a series of public events.
The show featured over seventeen local Wellington artists, working in a range of mediums. The show featured some talented artists who have lived experience of mental ill health or disability and showcased them alongside artists that do not have this experience. The focus was on the artwork and the ability of the artists.
