Our Vision
We aim to:
-
Deliver artistic opportunities that increase people's well being and self-worth.
-
Promote the philosophy that all people have the right to creative expression.
-
Enable people to explore their creativity and learn new skills in a variety of different art making mediums.
-
Provide sustainable income to artists.
-
Challenge the public's assumptions about disability and the stigma surrounding mental-ill health.
-
Be a platform for artists with barriers to exhibit in the wider community and develop their professional practise.
-
Promote the work of represented artists, as integral to the broad spectrum of contemporary art.
-
Encourage business and arts management skills alongside other transferable skills such as (but not limited to) cash handling and social skills to artists who require support with these.
-
Advocate for the rights, inclusion and welfare of represented artists.
-
Collaborate and work in partnership with other arts and community organisations or facilitators and the business sector where appropriate.
-
Guide, advise and support other organisations and projects with accessibility initiatives.
-
Establish a creative space where all people are welcome.
